Soft covers, bound by string. 35 pages. There is heavy staining as shown, along with toning and discoloration. Pencil markings/writing in a few places along with pen underlining on several of the pages. This looks to have been folded over along center for a period of time as it has a center crease. Back last few pages have tear-offs and last page has tape as shown. Please view all photos and reach out with any questions.
An excellent piece of railroad history, this includes both the charter and by-laws of the Providence and Worchester Railroad Company which was incorporated in Massachusetts in 1845. The line from Providence to Central Falls was shared with the Boston and Providence Railroad. Eventually the P&W was leased and then split and expanded.
